I'm not sure if I should Laugh or cry
Anyway there is O.D.B. with Got Your Money for Bernard Madoff, the man behind the madness.
No doubt have decided to reform. Citing cabin fever as the reason for the return.
Guitarist Tom Dumont posted the following on their website:
"I have cabin fever. Maybe we should play some shows or something,"
To which Gwen Stefani replied "I think we should go out now. I don't think we should wait. Pack up the babies and get a bunch of nannies."
I would consider that an enthusiastic response. The band haven’t played together since 2004 and not released an album since Rock Steady in 2001. They have also been in the studio on and off through out the year. 2009 bodes well for their fans myself included. They are grand musically but its their live shows that won me over. That Stefani young one as enough energy to power a small town for a year.
Nice.
Gemma is taking to the road this winter to treat us all to live renditions ofstuff from her acclaimed third LP
The Hollow Of The Morning. She will no doubt treat us to songs from her first two albums as well. Not a bad way to spend a winters evening.

The prodigy are playing Slane in June as the very special guests of Oasis. It's a bit strange that the support act is being announced so early, even one a fan-feckin-tastic as The Prodigy. Its probably a way to sell alot of early bird tickets in these uncertain financial times or something. There are going to be 4 support acts in total. And any day out with The Prodigy can’t be bad. They are in my not so humble opinion are one of the best live acts on the planet. A trip to Slane just started to look much more appealing.
This post makes the last one defunct but to off set the 5 minutes it took me to write it I have good news. AC/DC are playing the O2 on sat the 18th of April next year! I put that little nugget of information in at the bottom of the last post but I think it deserves the glory of its own post with its own picture and everything. I still think Slane would be a better venue but I am sooo mouth wateringly happy about the prospect of this concert I am willing to overlook that my personal desires have once again being ignored by reality. Tickets go on sale this friday(the 17th) at 9am. Tickets €67.70 including booking fee and are linited to 2 per person.
All together now, T.N.T......Im Dino-Mite!
Brian Crosby is leaving the fold at the end of their current tour. He is jumping ship to work in a studio. He produced the Cake Sale in 06 and has made music to tv and radio. He has produced the up coming One Day International Album. Here is what the band have to say: lookie lookie
Chris Cornell is working with Timbaland to release his latest album Scream in November and if the clips on his myspace page are anything to go by it will be crap of the highest order. Grown rockers will cry and try to ram jagged shards of the CD in their ears to get over the pain of hearing this R&B/pop mush. Perhaps I can get banned by the UN as it inflicts undue suffering on the fans of one of rocks greatest front men (although he had started to slide prior to this) Someone should have told him when Weezer sang “Timbaland knows the way to the top of the charts” in Pork & Beans they were not giving out career advise.
